Product details:
Thousands of anglers have gotten their start in the surf toting an Okuma Cedros surf rod. Featuring 30 Ton carbon fiber blanks, 316 grade stainless steel guide frames and a custom handle set, eight all-new Cedros CSX surf spinning rods are constructed to enhance the skills of all anglers. At the core of Cedros CSX surf rods are 30 Ton carbon fiber blanks. Heralded for its combination of excellent responsiveness and durability, the material quickens actions and increases available power when compared to IM-6 graphite. The rod tapers are all moderate/fast, loading well into the blank on the cast and achieving exceptional distance with a comfortable and smooth casting stroke. The guide set includes ALPS 316 grade stainless steel guide frames with super hard Zirconium inserts for braided line. Featuring small diameter inserts, the guide system is constructed specifically for braid, quickly transitioning loops coming off the spinning reel to straight running line. SS316 stainless steel delivers incredible corrosion-resistance having been tested over 1200 hours (50 days) of continuous salt spray and emerging completely corrosion free. The refined handle set exudes comfort and strength. Durable shrink tube grips cleanly taper to each end of the PacBay reel seat with anodized aluminum rings. The clean design provides fluid handling of the rod in the complete absence of anything that might obstruct the hand or catch a loop of line.
